Mercedes Sprinter Van in 1/76 (OO scale) in this British Transport Police livery with two Realistic Blue Roof Light Bars.

This is a brand new code 3 model, modified and finished to a high standard with a detailed interior, side mirrors, highly detailed wheels, 'Mercedes' logo on front grill and rear door, windscreen wipers, UK Number Plates, body mouldings etc.

British Transport Police use vans as well as cars to attend and support most incidents on the UK rail network. Therefore this exact OO scale Mercedes Sprinter will add an enhanced scenic scenario to any modern image model railway layout.

This model looks superb and very realistic on any modern OO/HO Railway as a trackside feature or parked up in your depot or perhaps outside your railway station.

This is a Brand New model, only removed from packaging for code 3 modifications from a standard van to this super detailed BTP van.

Due to the modifications made to this model, the number of small parts, and general delicate construction of the code 3 parts, this model is Not recommended as a toy for children. It is purely for use as a scenic feature for a model railway under adult supervision.

SCANIA / Angloco - TMD Heavy Pump - Fire Appliance - 1/76 OO scale

Since we started building modern image Fire Appliance Code 3 models, some of our more discerning customers have requested UK specification 1/76 exact OO scale models with even higher levels of detail. Well here we go then, and they don't come more detailed than this!

This is a very highly detailed and we mean VERY highly detailed code 3 model finished to a very high standard to add the ultimate modern day Scania Angloco Fire Service Appliance to a modern image model railway layout.

This Scania 360 Cab Fire Engine is a current and popular serving heavy pump appliance across the UK and although we have made close scales in the past, we are now able to offer you the Scania in an exact OO 1/76 scale to this level of detail.

Hand built and finished from resin on a 1/76 scale, this is the perfect UK model fire appliance and exactly the UK model railway OO scale.

It offers the very best authentic realism for a UK based Fire Appliance model available anywhere and the ultimate fire appliance for a model railway enthusiast, especially in the environment of a TMD, depot, station incident or open road scenario.

This particular heavy pump appliance is equipped with two water canons on the roof of the vehicle body which can be controlled from either the passenger seat position or external from the appliance. This allows fire crews to deal with large or dangerous fires from a distance and is becoming a popular addition to heavy pump fire appliances.

The water cannons on the model can be easily (but carefully) removed if desired.

SCANIA - Fire & Rescue Service - Foam Tender Fire Appliance - 1/76 (OO scale)

This is a very highly detailed and we mean VERY highly detailed code 3 model finished to a very high standard to add the ultimate modern day Scania Foam Fire Service Appliance to a modern image model railway layout.

This Scania 310 Cab Fire Engine is a current and an up an coming popular serving appliance across the UK since the Buncefield Fuel Depot fire. More foam appliances are being ordered and deployed throughout the UK to protect against large fuel and explosive materials incidents from the lessons learnt since.

Although we have made close scales in the past, we are now able to offer you the Scania Foam Appliance to offer the appropriate fire cover for your model rail depot in the exact OO 1/76 scale.

Not to be confused with airport foam tenders, this is a purpose built road going foam appliance to deal with fuel and chemical incidents throughout the UK.

The roof mounted foam cannon is even detailed with the controls for a fire fighter to operate.

If desired the cannon can be carefully removed together with the foam filling detailing rendering the appliance to a standard heavy rescue unit.

This model is hand built and finished from resin on a 1/76 scale, this is the perfect UK model fire appliance and exactly the UK model railway OO scale.

The appliance body comes as standard with open side roller shutters exposing detailed lockers including fire fighting and rescue equipment, hose reels, pump, cutting gear etc.

This is a very highly detailed code 3 model finished to a very high standard to add the ultimate modern day Fire & Rescue Command Post to a modern image model railway layout.

This Renault Kerax chassis cab is a current model range and therefore ideal for a modern era model railway layout.

Red and Yellow UK specified Fire & Rescue battenburg detailing decals run along both sides of the cab and de-mount style body. (please be aware that the body is not actually removable).

The roof detailing with the folded IC 22 Identification panels and other equipment including an air-conditioning unit at the front, make this a very well finished model indeed..

This is a very highly detailed code 3 model finished to a very high standard to add the ultimate modern day Fire & Rescue Incident Response Unit to a modern image model railway layout.

Red and Yellow UK specified Fire & Rescue battenburg detailing decals run along both sides of the cab and special build body.

Based upon the Incident Response Units in the UK, these units are non geographical meaning they are not county marked and can travel across counties or based wherever they are needed at incidents within the UK.

An picture of the vehicle this model livery is based upon is included in the images, albeit that is curtain-sided and the model is a rigid side with personnel area and tail-lift rear.

The detailing is superb with the folded up tail lift back make this a very well finished model indeed.

This is a very highly detailed and we mean VERY highly detailed model finished to a very high standard to add the ultimate Fire Service Appliance to a modern image model railway layout.

These Dennis RS Series fire appliances are often used by TMD operators to have on onsite retained fire service to attend and support anything from dangerous incidents to a flood on the depot.

The Dennis RS Series is the ideal fire appliance for a retained service as although their age, the reliability and performance is often far superior to later ex-corporation appliances.

Built in Guildford, Surrey the RS Series offered a choice of three engines; Gardiner, Cummings or Rolls Royce.

These fire appliances are often the choice of retained fire fighters as an all-round water tender with a spacious all steel built cab and an incredible water pumping capacity.

Blue Roof Lights Options

To keep this model as true to a standard ex-corporation factory/depot fire appliance, we have the revolving style blue lights on the roof. However if you wish, we can replace these with modern Rotating Roof Bar Lights, LED or Strobe style.

UK number Plates are being fitted to this model, however at the time of the photos being taken these were not completed. We want to again fit number plates that reflect the original year.

This model is exceptionally good and hopefully from the images you would agree with us that it is a model hand built without compromise with an eye to the closest of detail including scale.

This model is a 'built to order' only model, with an average turn around of 3 - 5 weeks.

1/72 (OO) Scale

IVECO - TMD Fire Service LWB Water Tender - Fire Engine

Iveco - EWS TMD Depot Fire Service LWB Fire Engine - 1/72 (OO scale) with EWS TMD Fire Service markings and Realistic Blue LED Roof Light Bars.

This is a highly detailed code 3 model, modified and finished to a very high standard to add the opportunity of a Fire Service to a modern image TMD model railway layout.

These vehicles would be used by TMD operators to have on onsite retained fire service to attend and support dangerous incidents on the depot.

Being a LWB (Long Wheel Base) configuration, it reduces the overall height by spreading the water tenders required features along the elongated chassis which therefore allows the vehicle to pass under low obstacles such as overhead pipes, cables, gantry's etc.

Built on a 1/72 scale model, this is a very close scale chassis fire engine to the UK model railway 1/76 scale and so offers great realism in the authentic environment of a TMD, depot, station incident or open road scenario.

This model is a the only one we have and it is a special code 3 modification to transform it into a typical UK specification.

Imperfections

It has been a prototype and therefore also been on display, and as such it is missing one windscreen wiper and mirrors on both sides.

The mirrors we think we have in stock.... somewhere, and will fit them upon sale prior to despatch, however the windscreen wiper maybe a different matter!

There is a counter balance weight within the main body is also loose and you can hear it moving, however it is sealed within the body not accessible and cannot escape, so nothing really to worry about!

Renault - TMD EWS Depot Fire & Rescue Service Foam/Water Tanker - 1/72 (OO scale) with EWS TMD Fire & Rescue Service markings and Highly Realistic Blue LED/Strobe Roof Light Bars.

This is a highly detailed code 3 model, modified and finished to a very high standard to add the opportunity of a Fire Service to a modern image TMD model railway layout.

These vehicles could be used by TMD operators to have an effective onsite fire fighting appliance to deal with fuel storage, refuelling and chemical incidents on the depot.

Built on an accurate 1/72 scale model, this is an excellent scale chassis fire appliance for a UK model railway OO scale and offers great realism of an authentic environment at a TMD, depot, refuelling yard scenario.

We have shown the model next to a 1/72 scale Cararama Ford Transit panel van to give you a perspective of the scale of this vehicle. Carrying 10,000 litres of water and 1,000 litres of foam agent, these are serious fire fighting pieces of kit.

This is a highly detailed code 3 model, modified and finished to a very high standard to add the opportunity of a Rail Incident Emergency Support Unit to a modern image TMD model railway layout.

These vehicles could be used by rail operators to deploy in support of Fire & Rescue crews for all manner of incidents in the depot or anywhere on the rail network.

Carrying everything required for a rail incident including heavy rescue equipment, lifting air cushions, compressors, generators, lighting and a command post etc, these are specialist vehicles designed and equipped as standard specifically for major incidents.

Being a LWB (Long Wheel Base) configuration, it reduces the overall height by spreading the required equipment storage and features along the elongated chassis which therefore allows the vehicle to pass under low obstacles such as overhead pipes, cables, gantry's in a depot and under trees etc when being deployed.

Built on a 1/80 scale American donor model chassis, this style of modern American specialist vehicle are being used more and more for all types of roles now in the UK, so it will not look out of place or un-realistic used on a model railway of OO scale and it will offer great realism in the authentic environment of a TMD, depot, station incident or open road scenario.

This is a code 3 model, modified and finished to a high standard to add the opportunity of a Fire Service Rescue Unit to a modern image TMD model railway layout.

These vehicles would be used by TMD operators to have on onsite retained Fire and Rescue Service to attend and support dangerous incidents on the depot.

Built on a 1/72 Man chassis, this model offers realism in the authentic environment of a TMD, depot, station incident or open road scenario.

Ford Transit - British Transport Police - with Roof Bar Lights

Cararama Ford Transit in 1/72 (OO scale) in this British Transport Police livery with Realistic Blue Roof Light Bars.

This is a code 3 model, modified and finished to a high standard with a detailed interior, side mirrors, highly detailed wheels, 'Transit' logo on side doors, windscreen wipers, clear glass head lamps and rear lights etc.

These vehicles are used by the British Transport Police to attend and support most incidents on the UK rail network.

This model looks superb and very realistic on any modern OO/HO Railway as a trackside feature or parked up in your depot or perhaps outside your railway station.

Scania - TMD Fire Service Water Tender - Fire Engine

Scania 124G Water Tender Fire Engine - 1/72 (OO scale) with EWS TMD Fire Service markings and Realistic Blue Roof Light Bars.

This is a code 3 model, modified and finished to a high standard to add the opportunity of a Fire Service to a TMD model railway layout.

These vehicles could be used by TMD operators to have on onsite retained fire service to attend and support dangerous incidents on the depot.

Apparently in real life they are generally second hand fire engines purchased and operated on large depots to ensure a rapid response to site incidents.

The model pictured above was the prototype for a commission build for one of our customers. It is planned to be completed in September 2007 and will be offered for sale here.

We have decided to show this model early here to see what interest is generated in this type of model, other variations of TMD Fire Service vehicles maybe produced if interest is keen enough.

Built on a 1/72 scale model, this is probably the closest scale chassis fire engine to the UK model railway 1/76 scale and so offers great realism in the authentic environment of a TMD, depot or open road scenario.
