Beacon Models Kit
We have just a very few 1/76 scale Ford
Transit chassis cab LWB model kits left in stock.
These models are very rare and
were originally made and released by Beacon Models based
upon a 1994 Transit however this model was continued
until about 1999/2000.
Made from polyester resin, it also
contains white metal parts so therefore not suitable for
children under 13 years of age.
In our opinion, this model is
suitable for modellers of an intermediate level (not
rookies yet not experts or pro's).
The hardest part in building this
model is the level of care to paint the resin cab
without going over the windows!
If you can do that, this is a
great model for you and your model railway.
Ideal for any modern image model
railway layout and really does make an interesting
scenario.
The following image is of a real
Ford Transit Tipper 1999 model, which will give you some
idea of the type that we have the 1/76 scale kit of,
until we get one of them built, and then we will put
those images here too.
Although there is no rear body
included in the kit, You can easily scratch build and add your own body configuration
such as a luton or in this case a tipper etc.
